Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 24, 2026
1. Who We Are
AutoVoxis, developed by Gameplay do Boy, is the controller of the personal data processed on the website and in the desktop program. Contact for the person responsible for data protection (Data Protection Officer): contato@autovoxis.com.br.
This policy applies to customers in all countries and complies with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018) and, for those in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Registration
- Name, email, and password (stored only as a bcrypt hash, which cannot be reversed).
- Selected country and language.
- Brazil: CPF (Brazilian taxpayer ID) and address. Other countries: phone number with country code and billing address.
- A record of your acceptance of the Terms, of this Policy, and of the option to receive marketing emails, with date and IP address.
2.2 Payment
- Card details are entered directly into Stripe's form and stay with Stripe. The full card number and security code never pass through our servers.
- We keep only what is needed for billing and support: card brand, last 4 digits, expiration date, the customer and card identifiers at Stripe, and the payment history (amount, currency, date, and status).
2.3 Use of the service
- IP address, browser, access dates, and program version.
- A computer identifier (generated from the hardware) used to keep you signed in to the program and to prevent abuse of the Free plan.
- The number of dubbed minutes per cycle, to enforce plan limits. We do not store your videos, audio files, or dubs.
2.4 What stays only on your computer
Dubbing runs on your graphics card. Your videos, your audio files, your finished dubs, and the recordings of your voice are never sent to us or to third parties. Speech transcription, voice cloning, generation of the new speech, and assembly of the final file all happen on your computer.
A voice may be considered sensitive personal data, because it identifies the person speaking. That is why the voice sample you record and the cloned voice created from it are stored only on your computer. We have no access to them. You can delete a voice at any time in the program itself.
2.5 Automatic translation
To translate the speech, the program sends our servers only the transcribed text of each segment, together with the source language and the target languages. Our server forwards this text to an artificial intelligence provider for automatic translation and returns the translation to your computer. No audio or video is sent, and your name, email, and registration data are not sent with the text. The text is used only to produce the translation.
2.6 Program error reports
When a dub fails, the program may automatically send a report with the error code and description, technical details of the computer (processor, graphics card, operating system, and program version), and the log of that dub, showing the steps performed and where it stopped. This log does not include your videos, audio, voice recordings, or the transcribed text. The report carries the email of the signed-in account for one purpose only: to let you know when the error has been fixed. This email is not used for marketing or shared.
3. How We Use Data and on What Legal Basis
- Providing the contracted service (account, program sign-in, translation, plan limits, support): performance of a contract.
- Billing, renewals, and account notices (payments, due dates, failed charges): performance of a contract.
- Keeping tax and payment records: compliance with a legal obligation.
- Security, prevention of fraud and Free plan abuse, and bug fixing: legitimate interest.
- Marketing and news emails: only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the dashboard or through the link in each email.
4. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your data. We share only what is necessary with these providers:
- Stripe: payment processing (name, email, country, billing address and phone number, and card details).
- Hostinger: hosting of the website and the database.
- Brevo: sending account emails and, if you have consented, marketing emails.
- Artificial intelligence provider for automatic translation: receives only the transcribed text of each segment, without your registration data (section 2.5).
- Telegram: internal notifications to our support team (for example, a new account or a failed payment), with the customer's email and plan.
- Authorities: when there is a legal obligation or a court order.
5. International Transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the country where you are, for example in the United States and the European Union. The automatic translation provider also has servers outside Brazil. These transfers take place to provide the service you contracted and follow the safeguards set out in the LGPD (art. 33) and the GDPR, such as the data protection terms and standard contractual clauses adopted by these providers.
6. Your Rights
At any time, you can:
- Confirm whether we process your data and access it;
- Export your data (button in the account dashboard) or request portability;
- Correct incomplete or inaccurate data;
- Delete your account and your data (dashboard or deletion page);
- Withdraw your marketing consent;
- Object to processing or request that it be restricted, where the law allows.
Voice recordings and cloned voices are not with us: they stay on your computer, and you can delete them yourself in the program.
To exercise these rights, write to contato@autovoxis.com.br. We reply within 15 days. You can also file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) or, in the European Union, with the data protection authority of your country.
7. How Long We Keep Data
- Account: for as long as it is active.
- Text sent for translation: used only to produce the translation. It is not kept on our server after the translation is returned to your computer.
- Videos, audio, and voice recordings: never reach us. They stay on your computer for as long as you want.
- Error reports: for as long as needed to fix the problem.
- Access logs: 90 days.
- Payment and tax data: 5 years, as required by law.
- After account deletion: name, email, CPF, phone number, and address are erased (anonymized) and the card is unlinked. Only the payment records required by law remain, with no data that identifies you. Backups are purged within 30 days.
8. Security
- Connections protected by HTTPS.
- Passwords stored with bcrypt hashing (irreversible).
- Card data protected by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS certified.
- Access keys to our providers are kept only on our servers, never in the program.
- Daily database backups.
9. Cookies
On the website we use only necessary cookies: the session cookie, which keeps you signed in, and the language preference cookie. On payment pages, Stripe uses its own cookies to prevent fraud. The website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools.
10. Minors
Paid plans are intended for people aged 18 or older, or for minors with the authorization of a parent or legal guardian. If you become aware that a minor has provided us with data without that authorization, contact us so we can remove it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. Significant changes are announced by email, and the date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
